A man was arrested Sunday night after police caught him outside a car dealership they believe he had broken into.
According to police, at approximately 9:13 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 31, police responded to a burglary alarm at a car dealership in the 2000 Block of Airport Way South. As the first officer arrived she saw a man trying to escape the scene but he was caught and later taken into custody.
The man had multiple tools with him that belonged to the dealership and a large quantity of coins. Officers also noted that his shirt was ripped and the matching piece of material was recovered from the dealership’s barbwire fence.
The 48-year-old man was booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Burglary.
